The original Canopy Tour was first developed in the mid 1990's in Costa Rica by Darren Hreniuk, who is internationally renowned as the originator of this activity. Mr. Hreniuk has appeared in many TV programs such as CNN, Discovery Channel, E! Entertainment, NBC's Today Show and National Geographic among others. This activity was developed as an attraction that takes people high into the rain forest canopy, to show them a totally new environment and why this last frontier has to be protected from man's destructive nature.
Each Original Canopy Tour build is a work of art and no two are the same. Each location will aid in conservation, reforestation. and education. The idea of this activity is to involve people in an adventure that will make them appreciate the rain forest. Our purpose is to bring conscience to the public of the importance of the ecosystem and educate them on how we can save it.
